    After years of questions and contemplation about my work I've come to the
conclusion that my process is actually a lack of thought.  It sounds simplistic but painting for me is a form of meditation, or a subconscious release of what is going on in my life.  I want my viewer to see what they see and feel what they feel versus being told what to see and feel.
    I tune out to everything around me when I'm painting.  I convey my thoughts and feelings visually because I'm not always good at verbalizing but instead like to let my work speak for me. 
    My subject matter is all from imagination.  I let the content flow from within. In my early years my work was derived from nature and has evolved from there.  More importantly than the subject to me is color, form, contrast, energy, and movement.  I want the viewer to see something new each time they look at a piece and for my paintings to be more of an experience then an object.   
   
    Jeremy graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from the University of  Nebraska at Kearney in 1996 and has worked as a professional artist since 2000 doing 25 major shows each year in cities such as Chicago, Miami, Denver, Houston, San Diego, and Dallas.
